So one day, he surprises her by coming home early from work. She greets him at the door in a bathrobe, hair disheveled. He storms in and demands, \u201cWhere is he? Where\u2019s the guy you\u2019ve been sneaking around with?\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cI have no idea what you\u2019re talking about,\u201d she says calmly. Not convinced, the man ransacks the house looking for the alleged lover. Eventually, he gets to the kitchen upstairs, looks out the window, and spots a man sitting in a Volkswagen parked outside.<\/p>\n
Convinced it\u2019s the guy, he gets so furious that he lifts the refrigerator, hurls it out the window at the car \u2014 then promptly has a heart attack and dies.<\/p>\n
At the Pearly Gates, St. Peter asks him why he’s there. The man explains, \u201cI thought my wife was cheating, saw the guy in the car, threw a fridge at him, then dropped dead.\u201d St. Peter frowns and says, \u201cNope. Hell for you.\u201d He pulls a lever, a trapdoor opens, and down the man goes.<\/p>\n
A few minutes later, another man arrives. St. Peter asks, \u201cAnd you?\u201d The man says, \u201cI was just sitting in my car when a refrigerator came flying out of nowhere and crushed me!\u201d St. Peter shakes his head, says, \u201cI know all about you. Off you go.\u201d Another lever, another trapdoor, gone.<\/p>\n
Soon after, a third man shows up. St. Peter sighs and asks, \u201cLet me guess \u2014 what happened to you?\u201d<\/p>\n
