And somehow, she always knew exactly what to say to make everything better.<\/p>\n Those days weren\u2019t perfect \u2014 there were arguments, loud moments, and the occasional burnt casserole \u2014 but they were real. They were ours.<\/p>\n As the years passed, things changed.<\/p>\n Family members moved away for work or school. Some drifted apart. Life got busier. Birthdays turned into text messages.
