Fox is grieving the loss of his loyal dog, Gus\u2014a 12-year-old Great Dane-Labrador mix who stood by his side through years of personal and health challenges, including Fox\u2019s battle with Parkinson\u2019s disease.<\/p>\n<p>Sharing a touching photo online, Fox wrote, \u201cGus \u2014 great dog and loyal friend, we\u2019ll miss you.\u201d He also referenced his 2020 memoir <em>No Time Like the Future<\/em>, where he described Gus as his \u201cwonder dog,\u201d bringing joy to everyone he met.<\/p>\n<p>Gus played a vital role in Fox\u2019s recovery after spinal surgery in 2018 and offered comfort during times of isolation. \u201cYou know that no matter your situation&#8230; this animal is with you,\u201d Fox wrote, calling the bond a \u201cforce multiplier.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Reflecting on their relationship, he added, \u201cI didn\u2019t rescue Gus.
