Anyone who\u2019s experienced it will surely recall the bursting pride, the untapped joy that comes from seeing your not-so-little one close out a chapter in their lives wherein they\u2019ve worked so hard to achieve a specific goal.<\/p>\n

Those positive feelings must have been ten-fold for Texas\u00a0dad<\/a>\u00a0Dennis Roach in 2018, as his daughter\u2019s high-school graduation gave him the opportunity to recreate a photo taken back in 2000 \u2013 and the result was enough to warm hearts all over the world\u2026<\/p>\n

When Dennis graduated high school in 2000, he was lucky enough to have his infant daughter, Tori, present for the celebrations. At the time, the pair posed for a photo in which Dennis gave his little girl a kiss \u2013 the perfect keepsake reminder of his big day.<\/p>\n

Fast forward to 2018, and it was Tori Roach\u2019s turn to mark the moment when she finished high school. Needless to say, Dennis was there to share the milestone, and the pair had the brilliant idea of recreating the photo they<\/p>\n

In the new version, Tori lay across her father\u2019s arms as he once again kissed her cheek. She uploaded a side-by-side image \u2013 with the pictures from 2000 and 2018 \u2013 to Twitter, but no one could have guessed just how well it would be received by people online.<\/p>\n

\u201c18 years later,\u201d\u00a0<\/em>Tori captioned her post. It soon went viral, accumulating almost 150,000 likes and 57,000 reposts.<\/p>\n

The comments field was filled with people expressing their joy at the photo.<\/p>\n

\u201cUgh this is just the sweetest<\/em>,\u201d one person wrote.<\/p>\n

Another added: \u201cOne of the best pictures I have seen \u2026 I wish you and your family the best of luck<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWow lovely\u2026\u201d<\/em>\u00a0a third said.<\/p>\n

Yet arguably the most fascinating element of the two photos was the detail a lot of people spotted and couldn\u2019t help but comment on. Namely, the fact that Tori\u2019s dad Dennis doesn\u2019t appeared to have aged at all in the intervening years between when the two photos were snapped.<\/p>\n

\u201cHow old is your father,\u201d<\/em>\u00a0mused one person.\u00a0\u201cHe looks ageless.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cI think you froze your father until you grow up<\/em>,\u201d another joked.<\/p>\n

\u201cDamn did you dad age any<\/em>?\u201d a third quipped.<\/p>\n

Tori couldn\u2019t believe the attention her post received, and was later forced to clarify that her dad, aged 37 at the time of her high school graduation, wasn\u2019t single.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, she spoke to\u00a0People\u00a0of Dennis\u2019s pride.<\/p>\n

\u201cI woke up and I had a ton of notifications. People had started sharing and liking and commenting all over again. My dad was really proud. We\u2019re from a small town, so nothing like this really ever happens. And he was like, \u2018That\u2019s so cool!\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

She added: \u201cIt brought me and my dad closer in a way because we could share that moment, and I feel that not many other people get to experience that.\u201d<\/p>\n
