Sofia, while shopping, insults Chloe, an old classmate working as a shop assistant. Soon, Sofia’s rich husband, Tom, enters with a mistress. Tom tries to buy Sofia’s forgiveness, but Chloe discovers his hidden agenda. As Sofia confronts Tom about his infidelity, he dismisses their marriage and offers her money to stay quiet about his fraudulent activities. Sofia, devastated, leaves and accepts Chloe’s offer for support.
Chloe warns Sofia not to fall for Tom’s manipulative offer. As Sofia arrives to meet Tom, Chloe overhears Tom’s plan to frame Sofia for his crimes. Chloe intervenes, exposing Tom’s scheme and recording his confession. When Tom tries to silence her, Chloe calls the police, and Tom is arrested. Sofia, pregnant and devastated, is reassured by Chloe, who promises to help her start anew for the sake of her child.
