Melania Trump’s wedding dress ‘for sale’ on eBay for eye-watering amount

A woman was stunned to find what appeared to be Melania Trump’s wedding dress listed on eBay for $45,000. The Christian Dior gown, designed by John Galliano and famously worn by Melania at her 2005 wedding to Donald Trump, originally cost around $100,000.

Writer Liana Satenstein alerted her Substack readers about the listing, which claims the dress was worn by Melania and later bought by the current owner in 2010 for $70,000. However, doubts about its authenticity have slowed interest; a source told WWD the real dress remains with Melania at Mar-a-Lago.

The seller admitted altering the dress to fit her own measurements, changing parts of the original design.

Melania’s original gown featured 500 hours of Swarovski crystal beading and a 13-foot train, famously showcased on the cover of Vogue in 2005 after her star-studded Palm Beach wedding.

Meanwhile, Melania and Donald’s son, Barron Trump, now 19, remains largely private despite increased attention during his father’s second term. A freshman at NYU, Barron stands at an impressive 6’7″ but keeps a low public profile.
