Elton John’s Sons Steal the Show at AIDS Foundation Event, Sparking Fan Admiration

Elton John’s two sons, Zachary Jackson and Elijah Joseph Daniel Furnish-John, recently made a rare public appearance at their father’s 32nd Annual AIDS Foundation Academy Awards Viewing Party on March 2, 2025, in Hollywood, California. The boys, praised for their stylish formal wear and matching tousled haircuts, confidently walked the red carpet with Elton John and David Furnish. Elijah wore a classic black suit with a white shirt, while Zachary opted for a black suit, black crew neck, and a gold chain.

Zachary and Elijah also joined David Furnish on stage, where he announced that the event successfully raised $8.7 million for the Elton John AIDS Foundation. Video footage of this moment, shared by People magazine, quickly went viral, with fans admiring the boys’ growth, handsome looks, and resemblance to their fathers.

The star-studded event, held at West Hollywood Park with over 1,000 guests, aimed to raise funds for HIV prevention, treatment, and global advocacy, featuring a performance by Chappell Roan.

Beyond their philanthropic efforts, Elton John and David Furnish are dedicated fathers. In his 2024 documentary “Elton John: Never Too Late,” Elton revealed his sons’ fears about his mortality and his own desire to cherish every moment with them. In a 2016 interview with Ellen DeGeneres, he expressed how having children was an unexpected and incredible gift, noting their enjoyment of music but assuring he wouldn’t pressure them into professional careers.
