Donny Osmond has left fans deeply concerned after posting a video of himself singing from a hospital bed, assuring everyone he’s doing fine but not revealing why he was there.
On Wednesday, July 9, 2025, the singer shared a clip showing him in a hospital gown, receiving anesthesia before an unnamed medical procedure. In the video, Osmond performed “I’ll Make a Man Out of You” from Disney’s Mulan — the same song he originally recorded as the singing voice for Captain Li Shang.
As the sedation kicked in, his voice weakened and he clearly started to lose strength. Even after the procedure, he kept singing, though visibly groggy and exhausted, determined to finish the tune.
He uploaded the footage to his 212,000 Instagram followers, reassuring them that he was “feeling much better now” and that singing the song gave him the strength to get through it.
Fans quickly flooded the comments with messages of worry and support. “Are you okay, Donny? Big hugs! 🤗 I noticed the purple hospital band!” one person wrote.
Another asked, “What happened, Donny? Sending prayers from Mexico.”
Some fans guessed he might have undergone a colonoscopy. “The way he’s positioned looks like a colonoscopy,” one person noted. “Definitely looks like a classic colonoscopy pose. Haha. Hope everything turned out okay!” another added.
